Italian DJ Producer FEX (IT) returns to Supernova’s Downtown Underground label with his latest release ‘El Ritmo Del Alma.’
After making his debut on the label back in November 2020 with ‘Hear Me’ as featured on the labels ‘Who’s in da House’ VA, FEX has gone on to release music with renowned labels including Snatch! , Superfett, Club Sweat, Neighbourhood Music and more before making his long awaited return to Downtown Underground stepping up with his first EP release with Downtown.
Opening the EP, title track ‘El Ritmo Del Alma’ delivers a deep and driving bassline with it’s undeniably funky rhythmic percussion. Juxtaposed with its leading trumpets that instantly transport us to the streets of Cuba, but there is no room for the rumba or cha cha cha here, this ones meant for the main room to fill the floors around the world.
Next comes ‘Tribalica’ which instantly takes you to the dancefloor. A track led by percussion with an infectious rhythm to match, female vocals add a further dynamic to the track that just when you thought it couldn’t get any more captivating, ‘Tribalica’ makes you move, makes you shake, makes you want to dance all night long worshipping the music before hitting repeat and doing it all over again.
