Raphi continues her exciting solo journey with the release of ‘Giving U’, arriving 26th June via Spinnin’ Records. Following the success of her debut solo single ‘Mine Forever’, the fast-rising producer and DJ returns with the track she describes as the true beginning of her current artistic chapter.
Blending uplifting house production, euphoric vocals and timeless dancefloor energy, ‘Giving U’ captures everything that has quickly become synonymous with Raphi’s sound: emotional depth, infectious positivity and a deep-rooted love of classic dance music. “‘Giving U’ is where it all began for me. This was the first track where I knew my project was born. I remember leaving the studio that day feeling so inspired by what we created. It’s the perfect balance of everything I stand for! Happy, emotive and classic sounding.”
Raphi explains “It’s the track that made me believe in myself again and set the tone for the rest of the project. I remember playing it out for the first time two years ago and having the crowd sing it back to me. Two years in the making and we are finally here.”
The release follows a landmark year for Raphi, who officially stepped into the spotlight as a solo artist with ‘Mine Forever’, her first standalone release on Spinnin’ Records. The record marked a defining moment for the producer, showcasing a more personal side to her artistry and introducing audiences to the next phase of her evolution.
Prior to launching her solo project, Raphi had already established herself as one of the UK’s most exciting emerging names in dance music. Earlier this year she teamed up with house pioneer Armand Van Helden and George Reid of AlunaGeorge on ‘This Ain’t Love’, earning support across both club and radio spaces while further cementing her reputation as a producer with a distinct creative vision.
Having conquered the scene with a series of headstrong, feverishly energetic club records, Cyprus-born, UK-raised DJ and producer Raphi is now opening a bold new chapter in her rapidly evolving career. Drawing influence from old-school 80s sounds, early-2000s house music and contemporary club culture, she first turned heads through collaborations including Laidback Luke & Raphi’s ‘If There Is Love’ and Patrick Topping’s ‘Whisper‘ ft. Raphi, before building a catalogue that established her as one of club music’s most exciting new talents.
Alongside her studio success, Raphi has become a formidable live performer, appearing at some of dance music’s most celebrated stages including Creamfields, Hï Ibiza and Printworks. With ‘Giving U’, Raphi returns to the very moment that reignited her confidence and creative direction.
