Darius Syrossian’s Moxy Muzik label is back with another fresh emerging talent in the form of Dec Duffy here and shows his skils on a fine three tracker.
G&T is a dirty garage house cut with sleazy bass and hard hitting drums. The vocal fragments really pop and the snares are razor sharp. Bebbington Rd then picks up the pace with more kinetic drum funk and a perfectly pitched up vocal for some old school cool. Bout Now then brings some perfectly scuffed up drums and lo-fi hits to a high speed groove that will sweep up the floor and bring some naughty vocals to the party. Last of all is Viper, another lively tune with well defined drums, garage energy and smart vocal samples next to retro reverses.
This is another standout EP from Moxy.
