Armenian artist DAVI delivers his third release on Damian Lazarus’ label Crosstown Rebels this Friday, arriving in the form of ‘Nosferatu‘. Following Two Suns In the Sky and Gates Of Babylon, DAVI’s latest EP displays a more driving sound than his previous releases, leaning into big basslines and pacey percussion. Ahead of Nosferatu’s release, we invited DAVI to pick out 10 tracks for us that he’s feeling, enjoy!

1. Martin Eyerer – The Rolls (Funk D’Void Remix)

Let’s start with a track that I’ve had for many many years but haven’t played as much as I’d like. This is a sound that I would prefer to walk into the club to. Its so classy and straight to the point. This is the definition of club music for me.

2. Millok & Zigelli – Feel Me [Mario Basanov Remix]

This one might not be a dance floor killer, but I have been enjoying it a lot at home and in the car. Love basslines like this that lead the entire track and become the lead sound.

3. Fablo Fiero – Camaleon (Original Mix)

Pablo Fiero is an amazing music producer. This is probably my favorite from him. I have played this one many times this year and I usually find the perfect time to play it when I already have the crowd’s trust and like to bring the energy down a little but keeping it beautiful. This one brings smiles to the dancefloor.

4. Tensnake – Adams Hill (Gerd Janson LA Noir Extended Mix)

I think every dj has a library of songs that they wish worked on the dancefloor every time but unfortunately this one doesn’t. But the reason why I included it in this list is because it has been one of my new favourites. The weird part is I can’t really put into words why I like it. It must be a personal feeling. Maybe it’s the vibe of the track and it takes it back to the golden years of 2013 vibe. Love Gerd’s taste in music and this one is a gem.

5. Shonky – Le Velour (Original Mix)

Speaking of the golden era. There was something really special about the 2012-2015 years. I miss those years so much. The music sounded so natural and groovy yet melodic as hell. An all time favorite from Shonky.

6. Krystal Klear – Piano Banana (Extended Version)

The amount of times that this song has made the night for me and probably for the crowd is understatement. Works every single time and the vibe that it creates as soon as it drops gives me goosebumps.

7. Gorge – Take U

Gorge might be the most underrated artist at the moment. I have so many tracks from this guy. He is a true dance music producer. Every tune was written for the dance floor and they work like a charm. This one really brings out some energy in my sets. It has this modern nostalgic feeling to it.

8. OP – A Night In Sausalito (Deetron Remix)

Another track that I wish I could play out every time but I’m afraid this one is also in my personal library when I enjoy listening in the car. Such an amazing and simple tune. I have never played this one yet, I feel a little insecure but maybe I should give it a go one of these days when the moment is right.

9. Cos-Ber-Zam – Ne Noya (Daphni Mix)

This tune is so special. Whenever I want to switch things up a little and have a surprise for the crowd this one does the job. Since its not 4 on the floor, it does bring out a rare vibe sometimes. Super tune by Daphni!

10. Delphi – 7_11 House

This was one of my favorite finds from 2022. One thing I like to do when I’m playing longer sets, is to bring it some house-y vibe towards the end of my set. The simplicity of this track and the energy really works the dancefloor. Nothing beats classic piano rhythm accompanied by classic house beat.
