Pioneering New York label Cuttin’ Headz has teamed up with Bands in Town for a special live stream on Friday November 13th from 2PM EST. Entitled Cuttin’ Headz presents Boogeyman, a new sub-label A&Red by Jesse Calosso that is launching with an exciting new compilation. Playing the stream are some of the artists featuring on it such as Joey Daniel, Jaden Thompson, AJ Christou, Jean Pierre and more.
The stream is a way to get to know the sound of Boogeyman, a Cuttin’ Headz sub-label and the brainchild of Jesse Calosso, who also takes the lead with A&R. The imprint kicks it off with a fresh compilation featuring red hot new tracks from essential rising talents including Jaden Thompson, Aaron D, Jean Pierre, Joey Daniel, Vic Damone Jnr, Blas Cordero and more. On the collection there is chunky house from Aaran D, AJ Christou & Gabriel Torres link for the kicking Raw Life, UK stalwarts Alex Arnout & Matt Tolfrey come together for the silky depths of Back to Flat, Blas Cordero impresses with his tightly woven deep techno banger Do It while Jaden Thompson layers in some heartfelt vocals to the irresistible drum programming on his Closer. Jean Pierre’s Da Heights is a tech funk workout and Calosso himself helps define the collection with Disc-Hoe, a lively cut with ramshackle drums , with plenty more goodness also featuring along the way.
This special live stream will feature plenty of that material and will be streaming via Bands In Town Twitch as well as across all social media pages of Cuttin Headz, Bands In Town and the artists playing. These include key house talents and close Boogeyman associates AJ Christou, Jaden Thompson, Joey Daniel, Jean Pierre and Blas Cordero.
