Heads of the Suolful Berlin imprint, Chopstick & Johnjon tease their forthcoming full-length album with a remix package of their lyrically organic single ‘Pining Moon,’ featuring the interpretive skills of Jay Shepheard and Death On The Balcony.
Shepheard takes two stabs at the striking melody, one with string prominence along with a synth mix that defines the vocals and has an almost acidic flair. Death On The Balcony translates the track phenomenally for the dancefloor and the delicate keys steal your heart, yet in a package with such strong vocal presence, an instrumental version would have been a nice touch.
