Based in the South of England, DJ/producer and music lover Dan Parsons, aka Pandar, has been curating and creating his own take on house music since his debut in 2015. Merging influences from disco, Jazz and soul within explorations on labels such as Rhythm Department, AOC Records and a series of self-released productions across recent years, the up-and-comer has established a growing and loyal fan base, with more recent material capturing elements of garage and broken-beat spheres to evolve his sound further. Returning in style, mid-October sees the release of his new single ‘Can’t Hide It’ – a blissful production which transports listeners to joyful realms, whether that be on the dancefloor, during a sunny drive, or simply sharing times of happiness with close friends.
“I remember being so excited when I first got the structure down for this track in 2021. I honestly couldn’t stop listening to that trumpet line loop over and over again, to the point where I had it playing in my headphones for days straight. Throughout my time growing as a producer, I’ve noticed myself becoming more of a perfectionist with things, and ‘Can’t Hide It’ is a prime example of that. This song brings me so much joy, and I hope others get a sense of that when they listen to it.” – Pandar.
From the crisp, shuffling drums to the hazy opening melodies and subtle piano keys, ‘Can’t Hide It’ welcomes a sun-soaked slice of euphoria and serotonin, before slowly easing into the swirling leads, funky guitar riffs, soulful female vocals and infectious trumpet melodies for a resonant journey through house, disco and soul territories.
