Blindfold Recordings welcome debutants Baime here with four new tunes, one of which has already been doing damage at cult places like Roskilde Festival.
Things kick off with Metius which is an edgy groover with bright synth lines and melodic rain that really gets you gazing to the stars. Thebit is upbeat and electric thanks to more crafty synths and slick, stripped back drums that roll and roll. Arzachel then has a lead line that sprays about with a real sense of tension and menace before things wrap up with Cohete, a patient and sci-fi track that sinks you into a reverie over deep drums. Great stuff once again from this label.
