A visual metaphor representing the driving force to make her dreams a reality, RVBY’s enchanting music video for ‘Glitter’ shows sweeping views of forest and sunset landscapes, interspersed with an emotive vocal performance from the singer/songwriter.
When speaking about her new single RVBY explains, “I’m chasing this physical ‘sparkle’ on a journey. The meaning behind my new single is that I’m chasing this dream which in the video takes the form of a moving magical cluster. The sparkle is calling me to follow it and it symbolises something I really want.”.
Written by RVBY and co-produced by Toby Scott (Little Mix, Sody, Cashmere Cat), ‘Glitter’ has swiftly gained playlist support from Spotify – including their coveted New Music Friday playlist and across Amazon Music UK. The track follows RVBY’s previous releases ‘Lost and Found’, ‘Thinking About You’ and ‘Lovesick’. Known for her DIY aesthetic across her productions and visual content, the UK artist’s heart-on-sleeve lyricism and shimmering vocals have won her an allegiance of fans and tastemaker support alike.
Cutting her teeth on the UK live circuit, RVBY previously performed at London’s Sebright Arms and Notting Hill Arts Club, as part of BBC Introducing Abbie McCarthy’s events series Karma Club and Gold Dust. She has also supported Georgia Box at Islington Academy and has graced stages at both Dot To Dot Festival and Liverpool’s Sound City. Additionally, RVBY was handpicked by Live Nation to take part in their ‘Live From Home’ series during lockdown last year.
