33 Music builds on early momentum with another trend setting club offering, this time from red hot Irish duo Nervous Freaks with a remix from label boss Dan McKie.
Since 2015 this pair have been rising through the ranks with their fresh house offerings on legendary labels like Spinnin’ Deep. Inspired equally by Detroit and Berlin, they know how to work crowds of any sort and now bring the groove with their latest weapon.
Kalimiba is a perfectly elastic house groove with warm bass rolling beneath upright drums. There are lush synths bringing colour to the breakdown and after the drop, sun kissed vocals add more warmth and the whole thing is set to become a real anthem as the sun begins to show its face.
The remix comes from label boss Dan McKie, a versatile artist with fans like Roger Sanchez and Carl Cox. His version is darker, for the late night hours, with more freaky synth sounds and spooky bass that keeps you on your toes.
