Live electronic duo Double Touch today are back on All Day I Dream with their newest three-track Dreaming Of You EP, out now.
On Dreaming Of You, Double Touch lean deeper into the melodic house sensibilities that have become central to their sound. Each track moves with a sense of intimacy and yearning, crafting an experience that feels as emotive as it is transportive.
The EP opens with its title track, ‘Dreaming Of You’, a hypnotic cut that balances darker, textured arrangement with soulful vocalwork. ‘Deep Sleep’ offers a more playful and upbeat turn, set against a blend of edgy yet earthy synths. ‘Feel The Love’ closes the project with a mellifluous cacophony that carries the progressive tonal themes that define the trio of tracks. Together, the release captures Double Touch’s ability to channel motion, memory, and emotional connection into immersive dancefloor storytelling.
“With the ‘Dreaming With You’ EP, we wanted to capture the feeling of being lost in motion — written while moving between cities, time zones and emotions. You can hear that sense of longing and optimism throughout the music. It’s a more dancefloor orientated release for us, but still rooted in the emotional storytelling and human connection that inspires our music.” – Double Touch
Based between Sydney and Los Angeles, Double Touch is the live electronic duo of classical pianist and composer Van-Anh Nguyen and DJ, drummer, and producer Mark Olsen. Since first appearing on All Day I Dream with their Adagio EP in 2019, the duo has continued to shape a distinct sound with steady releases including Greatest Day in 2020, Storm in 2022, and last year’s Gran Amigo. Alongside their original productions and contributions to the label’s Summer Sampler compilations, Double Touch have remained closely entwined with the All Day I Dream community and will appear at the label’s upcoming New York showcase at Industry City later this month.
