Not to be confused with a track of the same name that was released last year by Duck Sauce, THIS “Clap Yo Feetz” was originally released in 2005 by Dallas production duo Lavish Habits. A dance floor ode to finding love up in the club…or at least lust, anyway, the track was originally produced by Paul Parades and Mike Constantino and featured a vocal by Crash Planet label boss Red Eye. The song soon became an IYKYK buzz track for underground house DJ’s around the world and quickly sold out all copies upon its release on Dallas house label Select Records.

Now, on the 20th anniversary of its first release, Crash Planet is proud to release brand new, refreshed, and revised takes on the early aughts underground classic! The original parts were sadly lost to time, but Red Eye’s original acapella take managed to survive the years. Leaving room for the remixers to come up with their own completely new takes on the track.

First up, one of Lavish Habits’ original founding members Paul Parades turns in a high octane, peak time mix under his new moniker “The Feels”. This mix heads directly for the floor with pulsating energy that sits somewhere between EBM influenced indie dance and techy house.

From Dallas’ very own internationally renowned electro wizard CYGNUS (Central Processing Unit, Craigie Knowes, Breakin Rec) we get a sleazy, stripped back, spacey, electro-funk freak-off. Very 5am, very dark room, very sexy..

Finally, we have the West Coast acid master Matthew Brian (Tabby Trax, Kolour Rec, Jump Rec) sliding in with a proper underground acid house workout that will satisfy the most serious and pure house heads in the room.

The ‘Clap Yo Feetz Remixesare out May 8th!
