Hey Bebbo, great to meet you! How is everything for you in life right now?

Great to meet you too. Life is beautiful, I am doing what I love and following my dream.

Coming from Guatemala’s underground scene, how has that shaped your sound and career?

Coming from Guatemala’s underground scene has made me a great dj and producer because when I started I was the resident dj for one of the largest events here in Guatemala. They would make parties from edm to techno to house so I had to adapt all the time while maintaining my essence. It also helped me learn how to read the dancefloors and make people dance no matter what. This also reflects on my music nowadays since I like to produce different sounds like house, tech house, minimal and even deep house.

Do you feel your roots influence your rhythm choices or musical direction?

Without a doubt. Being from Guatemala and latino, we love rhythm and groove no matter what the genre is.

What were some key moments that pushed your career forward internationally?

Definitely my first big release on a big international label like Stereo Productions helped me get attention of bigger artists and helped me grow my audience.

You’ve had support from major artists, how has that impacted your confidence or direction?

It definitely shows me I am going in the right direction, what I am capable of, and it motivates me to keep making music for sure.

Your new release “Thinking About You”, what was the starting point or inspiration behind this release and how did it come to be you collaborating with Bastian V?

I now also throw parties in Guatemala and Bástian V was one of our bookings, that’s how I met him. He is a very good afro house dj and producer so we tried to make something that had both his sound and mine, and I’m really happy with the result 🙂

And to release it on Francis Mercier’s label Deep Root Records who are very prominent right now, how much has the labels sound inspired your own sound when in the studio?

I’ve played music from Deep Root and Francis since I started djing so this release is very special and means a lot to me. He’s been a big inspiration definitely in my journey.

Your music blends deep house with Afro-influenced elements, how has your sound evolved over the past year?

I used to make very melodic and deeper music before and since I started DJing internationally and testing different scenes I’ve noticed that people love to dance so I’ve focused on making higher energy more groovy music now.

What artists are influencing you most right now?

I would say Francis is always one of them but also artists like Blondish, Chris Stussy, Jamie Jones, Joseph Capriati, Mau P and many others.

What can we expect next then you can tell us about over the rest of 2026?

I’ve been working on so much music that I can’t wait to release and this year I’ll release on one of the biggest labels in the world, which I can’t share yet but I am very excited for that.
