Following his contribution to the label’s Miami VA earlier this year, Schulz now steps into the spotlight with ‘Absurdity’, a two-track release that cements his place as one of the label’s key new voices.
Arriving in perfect time for his set at the COCO Off Sonar Showcase alongside SOSA and Kidoo, the EP marks a major moment in Schulz’s journey to date. The title track offers a heady mix of warped synths and crisp, rolling drums, while the B-side ‘He Wanted To Fly’ leans into hypnotic grooves and moody atmospheres. With support from the label head and a growing international audience, Schulz’s latest outing is a sharp statement of intent and a strong step forward for the Norwegian talent.
