London-based electronic artist Tian Karl unveils another fragment of his forthcoming debut album ‘Things To Say About Words’ as he delivers the third single ‘CantWeJust’ on his recently launched Trust Issues imprint on 22nd November.

Following the release of ‘Flint’ in September and ‘Don’t Lie’ in October, both refamiliarising the masses with the sound that saw him spike in prominence pre-2020, Tian flips the script with ‘CantWeJust’ as he introduces us to a portion of his sonic identity that has been kept under wraps until now.

‘CantWeJust’ isn’t just another record from an artist trying to punch through the filler in an oversaturated scene; it’s an exemplary display of sonic maturity, artistic vulnerability and visionary escapism from one of the scene’s most unique creators that reaches far beyond anything we’ve come to know and expect from him in the past.

An immersive bridge from the Tian Karl we’ve been acquainted with in the past to the boundlessly creative genre-bending artist we’ll be introduced to through his debut album, ‘CantWeJust’ is a portal into the world of someone who has been through hell and back on a personal level on more than one occasion whilst finding a way to weaponise the trauma, recovery and personal growth that have come with those struggles into an explicitly raw, undeniably honest and daringly exposed tapestry of storytelling, brain dumps, expansive sonic dumps and much more.

While at surface level, ‘Things To Say About Words’ may look like a well-weaved conglomerate of relativity, each piece of the puzzle serves as an individual lyric that revolves around the narrative of telling a story without any words. Deconstructed, it makes sense of his hiatus, which had a very existential background, but also offers listeners the raw materials to find their own story within each record.

The ‘CantWeJust is out now!
