Brooklyn-based tech-house mainstay Westend and Miami-bred duo Twin Diplomacy today release their new single ‘Sensational’ out now via Westend’s Trace Amounts.
‘Sensational’ is a high-energy cut that leans into the steamy drive of dark dancefloors and warehouse raves. Dissonant builds set the track in motion before giving way to quirky, tech-heavy breaks that skew deliberately left of center. A sultry topline glides over plunging basslines and starchy percussion, while unpredictable twists give the record the kind of force built for peak-time sets.
Supporting the next generation of producers has become a growing part of Westend’s work beyond his own releases, both through his label Trace Amounts and Kick & Bass, his online community and educational platform. He first connected with Twin Diplomacy while touring with itsmurph, quickly taking notice of the brothers’ talent and work ethic before later inviting them to join Kick & Bass as guest coaches. ‘Sensational’ grew naturally from that connection, bringing the duo into the Trace Amounts fold and furthering Westend’s efforts to give rising artists a platform both in and beyond the studio.

Since emerging in 2016, native New Yorker Westend has helped shape the modern sound of house and tech house. His catalog spans collaborations with John Summit, HUGEL, ACRAZE, and SIDEPIECE, alongside releases on Toolroom, Catch & Release, Solotoko, Dirtybird, and more. ‘Sensational’ arrives amid a standout 2026, following performances at Lollapalooza, Day Trip, Electric Forest, and Elements Festival, as well as Knicks-inspired single ‘Feels Better’ and his return to Experts Only with ‘The Ceiling’.
Twin Diplomacy is the Miami-born duo of twin brothers Marius and Darius Bell. Quickly carving out their place with a signature blend of melodic and tech house, the duo have collaborated with itsmurph, Ship Wrek, and NIIKO X SWAE, with releases on Confession, IN / ROTATION, and Armada Music.
