Since its launch in 2024, Ilario Alicante’s Sound D’Elite has fast earned recognition as a hub for both established and rising voices in the underground scene. As part of Sound D’Elite’s mission to celebrate global dance music culture, the label now unveils its first Various Artists compilation, ‘Elite Gathering Vol.1 (Sonar 2025 Edition)’—the inaugural chapter of a brand-new VA series, timed to coincide with Sonar 2025 festival.
Bringing together a selection of trusted contributors and fresh arrivals, the ten-track compilation ‘Elite Gathering Vol.1 (Sonar 2025 Edition)’ captures the essence of Sound D’Elite’s forward-thinking approach, with London’s Antss kicks things off with ‘Can’t Right Now’, delivering a relentless groove packed with energy and bounce. Spanish duo The BeatBoy’s take a darker turn on ‘Closer’, blending moody atmospheres and rolling percussion. Italy’s White Off brings a rumbling low-end pressure on ‘All Ma Ladies’, primed for late-night floors.
Making his debut appearance on Sound D’Elite, Justin Rabin experiments with glitchy textures and playful vocal chops in ‘Handle This’, while returning favourites BizZa, GruuvElement’s, and Artslaves, deliver their trademark punch and precision. Vanny Granata, and Piero Acinapura, bring their own distinct flavours, ranging from crisp, techy rhythms to stripped-back funk. Closing out the compilation, Antonello Camboni and Stefano Crabuzza join forces on ‘About Music’, merging their individual styles into a deeply grooving dancefloor tool.
