MI4L – Congratulations on the release of your forthcoming single ‘Love For Me’. For those who don’t know you yet, how would you best describe yourself as an artist?

DNKLE – Firstly, thank you for your support. I think I’m an explorer and curator of audio-visual experiences. A storyteller and a jester who performs to all alike.

MI4L – Your debut live-stream performance, DNKLE Live at Burj Bhenswara, was widely acclaimed. Can you share the creative process behind that event and how it reflects your artistic vision?

DNKLE – I feel that it showcased a side of Indian beauty in our architectural history and the goal was to compliment the music with Natural aura and a strong and timeless foundation of the Burj that resonated deeply with my vision.

MI4L – You’ve described ‘Love For Me’ as a ‘hypnotic hymn for euphoric moments.’ How did you approach blending analog sound design, your own vocals, and the driving beat to achieve this unique vibe?

DNKLE – The first was the sampling of the vocals and then I came up with the high energy drums which when layered with the vocals created a sense of harmony in my head. The track draws inspiration from the songwriter in me catering to long release chords and pads which create a hypnosis of being lost in the depth of the lyrics “No more oppression Just love for me”.

MI4L – The single is being released through your creative platform, GITA. Can you tell us more about GITA’s mission and how it ties into your broader goals as an artist?

DNKLE – Curating timeless audio-visual experiences for soul-searchers worldwide, GITA’s everlasting story transcends sound, space and culture. I feel we can enhance our awareness, manage our emotions and cultivate a deep sense of inner harmony, as GITA intends to offer timeless wisdom that transcends cultural and religious boundaries.

MI4L – Your music seems to resonate with both MainStage crowds and intimate afterparty settings. How do you strike that balance in your sound?

DNKLE – I think it’s about finding synergy between an anthem that could rally a whole festival around the lyrics and the energy within the music, or build the moment of unity in an intimate gathering when relating their own personal experiences and I feel when writing and curating my own sounds I feel I have been 100% honest to reflect the same.

MI4L – As an artist with growing global recognition, how do you navigate the challenges of bridging local and international music scenes?

DNKLE – The bridges between India and the world are slowly coming apart as we learn to appreciate our own niches while also representing ourselves to the rest of the world. A key attribute I would give, like my father taught me, ‘go together if you want to go far’, inspired from the African proverb. Collaborations and linking two people, cultures and learning and growing together is the key to building communities without boundaries. That is what I believe, that is the mission of GITA RECORDINGS and the ethos of India.

MI4L – Looking ahead, what are your biggest artistic or career goals for 2025, and how do you plan to achieve them?

DNKLE – I have a few I’m already working closely to achieve but with the GITA all wisdom comes to light at the right time 😉
