Nottingham-based Zealous Records continues to grow beyond its hometown while keeping its foundation firmly planted in the city’s underground scene. Founded by DJ and producer Josh Dean, the label has evolved from a grassroots project into an internationally distributed house and tech-house imprint, with releases reaching listeners in over 200 countries.
Over the past few years, Zealous has hosted more than 20 events across Nottingham and London, drawing thousands to venues like Secret Garden and The Brickworks. That local energy remains central to the label’s identity, even as its music gains support from names like Jamie Jones, Marco Carola, Franky Rizardo, and Paco Osuna.
With future plans potentially pointing toward Miami, Zealous is looking outward without losing sight of what built it — community, consistency, and a deep respect for the underground.
