Following on from a run of successful collaborations within Steve Bug’s creative circle, Why Not Us sees Steve Bug and Ammo Avenue join forces after Ammo Avenue’s remix of Steve Bug & Huxley’s L.O.V.E. released in 2023 on Poker Flat, while vocalist Mikey V previously contributed his unmistakable voice to Steve Bug & Denney’s That Beat released in 2024 on Hot Creations.
Building on that momentum, Steve Bug and Ammo Avenue deliver a refined two-track house release that blends Steve Bug’s long-standing authority in deep and minimal house with Ammo Avenue’s contemporary club-driven edge.
The title track Why Not Us featuring Mikey V is a smooth yet assertive cut built on warm low-end pressure, crisp percussion and a confident vocal hook that gives it crossover appeal for late-night dancefloors and tastemaker playlists alike, while Don’t Stop The Music leans deeper and more hypnotic, driven by a rolling groove, subtle funk elements and a classic house sensibility designed for extended DJ sets.
