Following her first solo outing and years of experience as one half of the well-regarded Husky project, Ukrainian DJ and producer ALIIRA returns with a confident new step forward.
Her Escucha EP on Zatar brings together two original tracks and two standout remixes, showcasing both her evolving solo voice and her deep roots in the club landscape.
The title track “Escucha” is a vibrant, punchy, electro-leaning house cut built around infectious vocal chops and crisp percussion. It’s a track that balances energy with clarity, direct and effective, but never overworked.
Danish producer NILU (DK) and Zatar Label-head Phonique take the reins on the remix, flipping the track into a more angular and urgent, sharp and edgy rework that leans into
tension and groove, tailored for peak-time play.
The second track, “Devi”, dives into warmer, more hypnotic tech house territory. Its rolling rhythm and subtly layered melodies are joined by processed guitar textures, lending the track a slightly psychedelic edge without losing its
forward drive.
London based producer Urmet K strips down the track to its abosulte essentials to create a trippy, grooving house cut for the summer.
