BLND, aka Callum and Thomas, are known for revitalising the 2010s deep house sound while drawing inspiration from the likes of Jamie Jones, Lee Foss, and Hot Since 82. They’ve dropped their red-hot sounds on Manchester imprint Libero and had support from scene leaders, including Marco Carola. Sirolf meanwhile brings a distinctive spoken-word and melodic rap style shaped by roots in rap, r&b, jazz, and house on labels including Deeperfect, Whippin, and Cocoa. Together, they deliver a deep, groove-led, and emotionally charged sound built for the next generation.
‘Style Is Rude feat. Sirolf’ kicks off with a deep, shadowy tech house energy and futuristic production style. The groove is sparse and rippled with organ lines and neon hues, while the bouncy drums will prove irresistible as smoky spoken words add a human hook. ‘FourFive feat. Sirolf’ is just as stripped back and stark in design, with a sleek groove, clipper percussion, and fat bassline that grinds below the smudged and smeared mumble raps. The infectious ‘UR LUV’ brings some US garage energy with a hooky groove and belting female vocals that really tug at the heart. The fantastic ‘ALL U’ shuts down with chunky drums and molten synth notes, a forward-facing vibe, and well-worked vocals that keep you locked in and head down.
BLND, Sirolf (NL)’s ‘Style Is Rude EP’ comes on Dionysus Records on 13th February 2026.
