Contributing WriterScratch Massive are still riding high off the success of their last album, ‘Nox Anima’, which dropped back in February. It found that the French duo, Maud Geffray and Sébastien Chenut, brings all-new poetic flair, cinematic atmospheres, and a dreamy, melancholic mix of synth, techno, and cold wave sounds. It is the latest standout project in a career spanning over 20 years, with millions of streams, high-profile syncs, and headline sets all over the world. Their next album arrives in September 2026, but first comes this single with Zamilska, who counts Nine Inch Nails and Iggy Pop as big fans.
‘Resurrection’ is a powerful track with a slow, raw and heavy techno mood built through robotic rhythms, with ravey synths adding colour. Hints of Gesafellstein’s style can be heard in this short, potent track, which mixes up EBM and electronica but is overlaid with distant tribal chants and industrial melodic texture. This is a great start to Scratch Massive’s next chapter ahead of a huge gig at Olympia Hall, Paris on 13 February 2026.
