The producer evokes faraway jungles and arid landscapes across two tracks

WITHOUTWORK can play acoustic guitar, piano, and drums, bringing that grounding to his worldly, organic, and cultured take on house music, whether going deep, jacking it up, or exploring more minimal sounds. He consistently infuses his tracks with well-sampled character and a musical twist, showcased on labels such as Repopulate Mars, Cuff and Material, among many others, with support from notable names like Marco Carola, Luciano, and Jamie Jones.

This EP, the artist says, was inspired by the idea of creating jungle emotions that evoke the forests of South America and the vast savannahs of Africa, with numerous subtle voices and motifs that bring those still little-known worlds to life.

‘Estrela’ kicks off with tight, pinging tribal drum patterns and razor-sharp hi-hats. It’s a muscular groove designed to get a dance floor sweating with raw fills, Portuguese vocals, and reverberating kicks that all pump the party to the max. The equally brilliant ‘Forest Jump’ is another fiery and atmospheric cut with a big personality, flutes, busy toms and a bouncing jungle house groove that is perfect for outdoor parties and steamy sessions all summer long.

WITHOUTWORK’s Estrela EP comes out on Motel Calypso Records on June 27th 2025.
