NEXUS are a Zurich / Ibiza based trio crafting emotive electronic music that connects dancefloors through rhythm and feeling. Their music balances movement and emotion, blending percussive drive with atmosphere. Over the past years they have performed across more than twenty countries around the world. Now with the launch of their own Percue Records label – a home for forward-thinking electronic music rooted in emotion, motion, and design, they hope to take the next step in their careers.

We caught up with them recently to find out what inspired them to start the new label, how they see it evolving over the next few years, and their plans for 2026…

Hey NEXUS, great to connect with you! All 3 of you are based in Zurich, correct? What is the scene like over there?

Zurich is home — creatively, emotionally, and in the way a city can feel like an anchor. It’s also the place that inspired (Lucas) to move back from L.A.; the depth and richness of the underground scene here was impossible to ignore. The city has a surprising amount of character for its size — a blend of audiophiles, artists, and a strong burner community. People don’t just go out to dance; they go out to listen. There’s real intention on the dancefloor. And while Zurich is our base, Ibiza has become our second home — a place where we also write, produce, and recharge.

What inspired you to start your new label Percue Records? What was the concept from the start?

Percue was born from a desire for creative freedom. We wanted a space where we could release our music whenever it felt right, without having to mold it to someone else’s expectations. From the start, our principles were simple: independence, intention, craftsmanship.

How does the label connect to the deeper philosophy that drives NEXUS?

NEXUS means connection — the link where ideas, cultures, rhythms, and people intersect. Percue reflects that same principle: bringing people together through sound, visuals, and shared experience.

How do your experiences at Hive Club in Zurich influence the way you curate the label and your events?

Hive has been a creative anchor for us — a place where atmosphere comes alive with intention. Playing there taught us the value of narrative: the tension before the drop, the quiet between moments, the slow unfolding of a night.

What are the parties like, and what are your local crowds like?

Zurich dancers are beautifully tuned. They respond to detail. On the road, every place has its own texture — from intimate gatherings to explosive peak-time energy.

How do you see the label evolving over the next few years?

Percue will grow slowly and intentionally. We see curated vinyl releases, showcases, collaborations with visual artists, meaningful merch, and around 14–15 tracks ready for the next phase.

How does technology and innovation play into your approach?

Technology influences how we think about fairness, ownership, and future ecosystems. Innovation should serve the artist, not overshadow the art.

What role do community and collaboration play?

Community is the foundation. NEXUS was shaped through friendships, burner culture, global travels, and people we met along the way. Percue is our way of giving back.

Do you think AI has a part to play in music nowadays?

AI can support experimentation and exploration, but the emotional core of NEXUS comes from three humans shaping atmosphere and feeling in real time.

What goals and targets do you have heading into 2026?

We want to evolve Percue, release our music, refine hybrid/live concepts, grow SENS:ES, create between Zurich and Ibiza, and play selected shows worldwide — ones aligned with our vision.

Our guiding principle: create moments that harmonize the world — one atmosphere at a time.
