DJ Mak 10 made grime history this month when both Dizzee and Wiley turned up to his Shoreditch pop-up, sharing a stage for the first time in 20 years. Now, Mak is set to make another landmark moment with a full takeover at Ministry of Sound, uniting pioneers and new-gen voices alike in a legendary South London club.

Taking over all four rooms will be Chip, Wiley, Donae’O, Roll Deep, Flirta D, Sir Spyro, Maximum, DJ Slimzee, DJ Supa D, DJ Petchy, Wigman, Beezo, Terminal 4, Mc Fro with Lady Leshurr, set to make her Ministry debut.

Wiley’s appearance marks a rare return for the godfather of grime, a figure whose influence on the genre is unmatched. From the birth of Roll Deep to pioneering sounds that shaped an entire generation, his presence at the Ministry takeover underlines the event’s significance, connecting grime’s foundation years with its ongoing resurgence.

A central figure in UK underground culture himself, Mak 10 has been instrumental in shaping the sounds of Dizzee Rascal, Skepta, Kano and Ghetts, whilst developing his own innovative sounds across the grime, house and UK funky spectrum. His carefully curated line-up reflects the breadth of the scene from UK Funky pioneer Donae’O, to Birmingham’s sharp-tongued force Lady Leshurr, ‘Grime Scene Saviour’ Chip, and more.

The MAK10 Takeover brings together the best of London’s underground grime culture in one landmark setting with next-level sound and production across all four rooms.
