BotaniQ continues its early momentum into 2026 with the label debut of Chinonegro, as the Peruvian producer delivers his three-track ‘Mi Gentee’ EP, out now on Dennis Cruz’s imprint. Following strong opening statements from the label boss himself and a recent guest appearance from KOKO, the release welcomes a new voice into the BotaniQ ecosystem, one defined by groove, energy, and club-focused impact.
Opening with the title track, ‘Mi Gentee’ sets the tone through infectious percussion, commanding vocal hooks, and a raw, driving rhythm built for peak-time floors. ‘Sexy Dancer’ follows with a more playful yet equally propulsive edge, before the Dub Mix of ‘Mi Gentee’ closes the EP by stripping things back to rolling textures and hypnotic movement. The release captures Chinonegro’s signature balance of immediacy and musicality while aligning seamlessly with BotaniQ’s nature-inspired ethos.
