Brazilian newcomer Ribguga is making his label debut with his Brasil EP out now as part of Dirtybird’s 20th anniversary. The collaborative two-track EP features fellow Brazilian acts Balanka and Carvalho (BR).

A vibrant introduction to Ribguga’s playful and percussive approach, Brasil captures the colorful, off-center pulse of the country’s underground dance scene. ‘Talkin’ Too Much’ with Balanka balances slick vocals with rolling low-end groove, while ‘President’ with Carvalho (BR) takes a hazy, late-night edge that threads techno weight through a classic Dirtybird bounce. Together, the two cuts form a snapshot of the next wave of Brazilian talent shaping the label’s global sound.

Dirtybird’s connection with Brazil runs deep, championing acts like Bruno Furlan, Cour T., DJ Glen, and now Ribguga as part of a growing community bridging the continent’s club culture with the label’s irreverent spirit. Building on the success of its Taste Of Brazil compilation and recent debut from BadComppany, Dirtybird will continue to expand its footprint in 2026 with Flight Week Brazil – a multi-city tour celebrating the label’s 20th anniversary and spotlighting rising voices from across the region.

Hailing from Rio de Janeiro, Ribguga (aka Gustavo Ribeiro) is a rising producer shaking up the global electronic scene. Ribguga has released on Cloonee’s Hellbent, CUFF, and Nervous Records and received support from acts like Claptone, BLOND:ISH, Gordo, Mau P, and Solardo. Following his debut EP on the label, Ribguga will join Dirtybird at their upcoming Flight Week Brasil writing camp and perform at the showcase on December 5 in Belo Horizonte.
