We’re thrilled to premiere the latest from Los Angeles-based DJ and producer Eddy P., who’s dropping his explosive “Bad Boy” EP on his own imprint, SoundWav Records. Known for his mastery of bass-driven tech-house grooves with an unmistakable old-school edge, Eddy’s sound is rooted in influences from house, hip-hop, disco, and jazz.

 

This three-track EP kicks off with the title track “Bad Boy”—a gritty house cut laced with hypnotic vocal loops and crisp percussive elements. “Jokes” follows up with a tech-heavy vibe, where a driving bassline and icy hi-hats set the scene, while the vocal adds an ethereal touch. Wrapping things up, “N’Then” deepens the mood, bringing Eddy’s signature grooves to the forefront.
