Summer is quickly approaching, and Marco Niemerski (aka Tensnake) has been busy in the studio. Marking the start of his upcoming series of releases for 2016, the London-based artist graces our ears with a lovely two-track release to stimulate the senses. After one solid year of non-stop touring, Desire EP is the result of three months of production on fresh new tunes in Berlin. Already rocking with the Mirau label under his belt, the EP is released on his more recent imprint, True Romance Records.
Slip into a sweet escape, where the beats are breezy and vibes are plentiful. Inspired by Marco’s travels to Asia and the Middle East, “Desire” is beautifully enriched with upbeat, disco sounds and wonderfully hypnotic vocals. “Fantasma” continues the groove, taking you down a much more mysterious and exotic path, with alluring melodies and mystical flutes; both possessing serotonin-inducing qualities that’ll certainly evoke a sense of wanderlust.
