Several Definitions first caught our attention in a huge way last month with one of the standout tracks on Diynamic’s ‘Four to the Floor’ compilation. Since then we’ve kept a closer eye on the newcomer, and his latest release out on Stil Vor Talent proves this was a wise choice. ‘No Artificial’ is a massive blend of techno and deep house, electrically charged from top to bottom.

The EP starts off with ‘Wind and Waves’, a visceral tech builder that quickly turns the lights down low, full of robotic melodies and scattered bird like chirps, the perfect soundtrack for you next dungeon party. Boy Next Door warps the track into a pounding techno anthem, taking your dim lights and smashing them to the ground. Clearly not interested in putting things in chronological order, ‘Intro ’ comes next, living up to its title by creating a tension that is almost palpable. KlangKuenstler is enlisted for the remix, injecting a titanic groove into the foundation to create a dance floor symphony. ‘No Artificial Comments’ closes things out with another lesson in buildup, blanketing the track with ethereal synths and warm percussions, culminating into a heart pounding joyride that will have your hands in the air whether you are at the club or sitting at your desk.
