National Aquarium stands as the seventh release from Maryland-born Better On Foot label, showcasing the best and brightest of Baltimore’s underground artists. Lomez and Ony introduce the EP on an upbeat, indie dance note with “Cold Front,” leading into Montauke’s textured, deeply key driven “Primal Behavior.” The final track “Goals” is my pick of the three, with an easy going groove, soft vocals and a spacey moments that keep the momentum.
Showcasing fresh talent and sounds from the East Coast, this label is one to watch for sure.
