Toronto artist, Mario Ochoa, delivers blazing tunes with Dreamers EP on prolific label, Glasgow Underground, out April 21st.
Mario’s debut release for us was the mighty “Quantum” – a trippy techno workout that hit the Beatport charts and picked up some kind words from the likes of Hollen, Chus and Matt Sassari.
On this latest one he has again delivered two absolute stompers. “One Shot” is a slice of a hook-fuelled techno that sounds like Lil Louis “Video Clash” time-warped into 2017 – proper heads-down business. “Dreamers” is quirkier and maybe a bit deeper but perhaps the one that will stand out the most with its haunting synth stabs and Dense & Pika style groove.
