M.A.N.D.Y. are undoubtedly one of the lynch pins of the modern house and techno scene. As a DJ duo they command audiences all over the world and have mixed it up for the likes of Fabric and Renaissance, in the studio they craft some of the most arresting dancefloor sounds out there and as label chiefs they have overseen the rise of Get Physical into one of the leading lights of dance music. Most recently they have started collaborating and partying with Matthew Dear and Sigu as Buddies in New York, and now one half of the duo, Philipp, has stepped up to mix the next AUTOBRENNT podcast which was recorded live in NYC…
The mix has all the usual bounce you’d expect rom this well travelled German. House and techno get weaved into each other seamlessly but its what goes on outside the beats which really draws you in… weirded out synths, robotic bleeps and squeals and other delicious samples all help craft and alluring sound track which makes your mind do as many tricks as you feet. Electronic yet warm, the mix warps and worms its way through many a late night warren… enjoy!
