Mr. C’s imprint Superfreq has always been bold. The label’s upcoming release from label boss Mr. C, “I’m Gonna give You Some,” is a monster. It is gaining support from heavy hitters Dubfire, Art Department, and Clive Henry, to name a few. This release marks the label’s much welcome swing back into club-land.
“I’m Gonna Give You Some” is a seriously bone shaking track that’s already begun to smash dance floors beneath its demonically pounding bassline and orbiting analog textures. And if that wasn’t enough, remix duties were appointed to Dance Spirit (Android Cartel’s new moniker) and the LA-based Superfreq resident David Scuba, who managed to take Mr. C’s original deep bassline and haunting vocal phrases to a new levels of tech’d out dimensions.
There’s no doubt that the Superfreq brand is going strong, and with a whole slew of hot singles planned for release this year, as well as Mr. C’s forthcoming full-length album Smell The Coffee, this label is definitely one to keep an eye on.
