Matthew Brian has built his nearly two decade long DJ career rocking shows all over US and sharing the decks with the likes of Mark Farina, Derrick Carter, Luke Solomon, and DJ Sneak, to name a few. Currently riding high off his chart topping Las Chanclas EP  on 1200 Traxx and resulting West Coast tour, Matthew Brian is showing no signs of stopping as he knocks out another hot release on the local Long Beach label, Seven Records. KC Shuffle features all-star remixes by Dan Warby, Ryan Truman, and The House Inspectors.

For those with a penchant for super funktified grooves and slammin’ house beats, this release is an absolute must-have. Matthew Brian’s original opens the EP up on a slow roll, coated in funky horns and Sunday afternoon vibes. Taking the track up more than a few notches is Dan Warby, with some infectious latin percussion and a huge bouncy tech-house bass line. And Ryan Truman locks the KC shuffle into a solid slice of jazzy house while The House Inspectors knock it fully out of the park with silky saxophone work and the vocal vibe-setting of Louis Hale and Marck Jamz.

As anyone who has seen Mathew Brian work the turntables can attest, he throws it down big time, and for anyone who hasn’t… check out his latest mix below, and make sure you stop by San Diego’s house music haven, Bar Dynamite today, Wednesday April 10, and get house’d by Matthew Brian and the Dance Klassique residents. Info HERE.
