French producer Lo Coco drops three summer tracks on Manchester’s SoCalled Recordings this June.

Following on from two seminal releases by Horatio and Waitz, SoCalled’s third outing sees Marseille-born artist Lo Coco join the expanding SoCalled Recordings roster. Having released on Safe Records, Hippies and Go Deeva, Lo Coco’s rhythmic productions continue to turn heads, having received support by the likes of Hot Since 82 and Dennis Cruz.

‘My House’ is a rumbling production featuring a medley of percussion, chopped up vocal samples and suspenseful breakdowns. ‘Incomible’ is more low-slung by comparison, focusing on a heady groove whilst organic drums and Spanish spoken word sample operates throughout.

‘Lo Digo’ is then a stripped back affair that meanders forward complete with off-beat snares, bursts of trumpets and bubbling effects before London duo GruuvElement’s takes things into an even more percussive direction, cutting back on the bass whilst focusing on an intricate rhythm.

Lo Coco ‘My House EP’ drops on SoCalled Recordings on 26th June 2017.
