Monsieur M., Brazil based host of Music is 4 Lover’s podcast series, “The LoveBath”, and Kurc of Gop Tun fame release a free download for all you 90’s junkies in the form of a rework of Charlie & Eddie’s, “Would I Lie To You”. This twist of the soft FM staple has been turned into a danceable slow-burner ready for the south balearic season of 2014 and includes both a short and extended version.
Monsieur M. and I met over chats about or beloved slow-jam LoveBath podcast and have since created a master plan to infiltrate as many sets of ears around the world as possible with the sounds of disco, 80’s & 90s jams and deep slo-mo house cuts. Originally from Greece, this Brazilian transplant is the resident at Bahia’s beach club, Tikal, where he plays with a style that only funk, soul, underground hip-hop, classic R&B and disco could inspire. This eclectic master is one of my favorite DJs and truly understands what the phrase “Music is 4 Lovers” means. Enjoy this free track, it’s hard not to, it’s free.
