Exploited Records brings us yet another chapter in the infamous ‘Shir Khan Presents Black Jukebox’ series with number 12, this time showcasing the talents of the anonymous artist Aussteiger. Described as ‘a medicine man with shamanic powers who experimented with various herbs and accidentally found a recipe to create magical music and ravishing sounds’, not much else is known about Aussteiger. His shamanic powers are put to good use with the feel good smash ‘Bangboa’, which has us bumping and grinding to its perfect old school hip hop sample and sweeping filters. ‘Return’ captures us with its tribal drums and energy building organ tones that culminate into a dance floor classic.
