Summer is in full effect, and even as we enjoy the warm breeze and the occasional boat party, we never quit hunting for fresh music. This time, with a perfect EP for those who enjoy their dose of soul and funky rhythms. Making their OFF debut, Ben and Lennart, a duo hailing from northern Germany better known as Artenviefalt who have already built a reputation with releases on Stil Vor Talent or Light My Fire, provide us with all the right ingredients to make a crowd go wild. “How We Chill” shows all their sampling skills in full effect, creating a laid back house anthem with a strong soul/hip hop influence and a lovely balearic vocal. A track with many magical moments that hit all the right keys. “Long Beach” is the second track in the package, another laid back, funky number with a great rolling bassline, tasteful percussion and guitar licks. Incredible vibes all around, be it a rooftop, pool or boat party, this are indeed the perfect tools to make those unforgettable summer nights last forever.
