Contributing WriterAlampa is a new duo that is making big waves. Now they do so again with a new EP on the NOPASSPORT label that features three more of their fantastic tracks. As such, Katya Kolgan and Tagir Kurbanzhadzhiev announce themselves with a bang here.
First up is Run or Defence, a broody track with great vocals up top that are full of pain. The drums sway back and forth and keys add to the heaviness. Flaming Wonder then slows down with heavyweight kicks and more of the great vocals that are expressive and heart broken. Last of all, Fade Away is a moody, spacious dub cut with dramatic percussion and big hits. It’s one to get the spine tingling and rounds things out in emotive fashion.
