Prominent Mexican label, Akbal Music, provides a special podcast for our Label Lovers mix series using tracks solely from the label — compiled and mixed by label owner Robbie Akbal.
Akbal Music has a celebrated catalogue full of amazing artists that have been amassed over the past 10 years; such as Miguel Puente, Death On The Balcony, Dale Howard, Dance Spirit, Cozzy D, Audiofly, Balcazar & Sordo, S.K.A.M., Nick Curly, Guti, Shall Ocin, Hector, and of course Robbie Akbal himself.
To commemorate the 10 year anniversary mark, Akbal Music will be releasing a massive three-part compilation featuring a number of great artists; including Ray Okpara, Miguel Puente, Leo Leal, Pablo Bolivar, In2 Deep, Nukem, Natural Flow, Vivid, Mano Andrei, and Robbie Akbal. In addition to the digital series, the label will release a vinyl only compilation as well, which will include all new tunes from Sascha Dive, Doubtingthomas, Superlounge, and Mano Andrei. And for all the BPM Festival goers out there, be on the lookout for the 10 Years of Akbal Music showcase–line-up is TBA but we’re sure it’s going to be super solid.
